"It's alright to have butterflies in your stomach. Just get them to fly in formation." - Dr. Rob Gilbert
The tendency for most people is to get into a comfort zone and
build a nice little nest there. The comfort zone is made up of all
the thoughts we've had and all the things we've done often enough
to feel comfortable thinking or doing them. Anything that threatens
to push us out of our nest makes us feel uncomfortable.
"Uncomfortable" is a catchall term that encompasses many emotions;
fear, unworthiness, doubt, anger, hurt and distrust, to name a
few. Since we have labeled these emotions as "bad", we don't want to
feel them and so we crawl back into our nests.
It can be argued that there are really only two human emotions,
fear and love and that all other emotions are variations on
these two themes. Any negative emotion is a spin-off of
fear. Except for rare occasions, most of the fear that we
experience is over imagined circumstances or consequences. But,
since fear keeps us from doing things, we never really check out
the validity of the fear itself. A feedback loop of fear ? not
doing ? ignorance ? then back to fear develops.
When something pushes us out of our comfort zone we feel some
variation of fear. The bodily sensations that go along with fear
are something that we have come to label as "bad" and we want
to avoid them at all costs. Let's look at what happens when the
body feels fear; adrenaline, glucose and other energy producing
chemicals are released into the bloodstream. Our senses actually
sharpen when non-essential fears such as, "Did I remember to TiVo
Lost?", pop up and we gain an instant ability to focus on the task
at hand.
When we are outside of our comfort zone, most of the time, the only
thing we are in danger of is learning something new. What is
helpful in learning something new? Energy, clarity and the ability
to focus - all available to you via your friend, fear.
Now, am I saying that fear is the best motivator? No, but I am
saying that you can change the way you look at the sensations that
fear produces. Do you realize that, at a somatic level, excitement
feels pretty much the same as fear? So what I'm suggesting is that
the next time you get pushed out of your comfort zone and you feel
the adrenaline of fear, instead of crawling swiftly back into the
safety of your nest, change the way you look at it. Choose to
experience the sensations of excitement and use the clarity, energy
and increased focus at your disposal to say "YES" to the experience
and learn something new!

LET US TAKE TODAY
Tomorrow is not promised us
So let us take today
And make the very most of it
The one we pass this way
Just speak aloud the kindly thought
And do the kindly deed
And try to see and understand
Some fellow creature's need
Tomorrow is not promised us
Nor any other day
So let us make the most of it
So let us take today
And make the very most of it
The one we pass this way
Just speak aloud the kindly thought
And do the kindly deed
And try to see and understand
Some fellow creature's need
Tomorrow is not promised us
Nor any other day
So let us make the most of it

How judgement robs you of success...
By Dr Robert Anthony
"It's impossible to hate anyone whose story you know." - H.S. Boylan
We talk a lot, in our work with Personality Filters, about developing compassion, both for yourself and others. We say that when you understand why someone behaves the way they do, then you are more able to feel compassion instead of judgement toward them.
Typically, when we judge someone we are making a whole host of assumptions. Take a simple judgement: "She should be on time". Is that true?
Do you know:
-If something unavoidable occurred to prevent her from being on time?
-What lessons she is learning in her life by being late?
-If being on time is an important standard for her?
-If her inner guidance was keeping her from a certain intersection at a certain time?
The bottom line is that you don't know, you never really know what someone else's path in life involves. Therefore, the answer is always, "No, it's not true". It's just your opinion.
Having compassion does not mean that you have to condone someone's hurtful behavior, but it does mean that you don't judge the person. Now I imagine that some of you are thinking, "What about criminals?" I'm willing to bet that the most heinous crimes are committed by people who had heinous things done to them as children. Does that excuse or justify their behavior? Definitely not. But if you knew their story, you would feel more compassion for them. We see this in our work in the judicial system, where judges pass judgment on the action of an individual, while remaining compassionate to the person.
Our day to day judgments are typically not of that magnitude. They are mostly about things that we believe other people should be doing based on our own values, standards, wishes or needs. So the next time you find yourself judging someone, take the judgemental thought and ask yourself; Is that true? Can you know with absolute certainty that it is true? If you're not in that other
person's skin the answer has to be - No, it's not true.

If you haven't even recognized your plight before, keep reading - because the following information could help you transform your life! Read on..... How good would it be if you discovered today that just through reading this article you've found what is possibly the best way in the whole world to join the 2% who win big and enjoy online success? First of all, lets look at some of the features of the two different groups in question- the 92% who fail and the 2% who don't! Over time, studies show us the following results:
The '2 Percenters':
- Just like you, its most likely that the '2% ' have reasonably functional brains and hands and fingers they can manipulate to do things.
- They're typically very good at doing the best for themselves and are generally already on a path that makes success possible or even guarantees their success!
- From a psychological perspective, either the 2% have recovered from the damage inflicted on them by their parents and teachers, or they weren't damaged too severely.
- Typically, the 98% are on a path that makes success difficult perhaps impossible even.Typically, the 98% have not recovered from the damage inflicted on them during their early life and If you're among the 98%, it's possible that you've been damaged to the extent that there's no reasonable hope of recovery.
- This group suffers from not having acquired certain pivotal skills, keeping them stuck at low levels of incompetence, mediocrity, and failure. There are certain factors that BLOCK their success -- and they don't have the pivotal skills required to remove such blocks.
- If you consider yourself to be among the 98%, your first challenge is to find out if there's a possibility that you can learn to use your brain, hands, and fingers well enough to succeed. Try this free study session - You can learn much more about this aspect and receive excellent free information.(see link below)
1. Recognition of where you're at - If you're reading this chances are you're a 2 percenter looking for direction. So do something about that.

Our Past Limits Us
By Hannah du Plessis
You can do anything. Plan it. Take your time, you'll get it right.
“Impossible is a word from the dictionary of fools!” - Napoleon Bonaparte
We judge our capability by our past performance. In this way our past plays a powerful role in limiting us because we use the past as a gauge of what we will be able to do in the future.
So often past failures are seen as the final authority for determining that our future is doomed to failure as well. Don't fall into this trap. Millions have failed, tried again and then achieved. You too have had failures that you turned into successes.
We all have achieved certain things in our lives. Academic achievements, sports achievements, career achievements. Yet often we do not interpret these accomplishments the way we should. We forget them and consider them unimportant. Your past accomplishments are proof that you can do more. Great things have already been achieved, and they indicate that you will still be able to do more in the future. You are older, smarter
and wiser.
Failures simply indicate that either, you still needed to learn some things, or that you were attempting to achieve something that was not part of your purpose at that time.
Don't judge your future by your past.
You have accomplished much. These are proof that you can do more.
Past experience also includes what we’ve been taught. Without realizing it, we were being brainwashed into believing a lie about who we are and what we can do.
You can't be more than what you believe you are.
Yet we have believed the lies and therefore find it hard to believe the truth. We have been programmed like a computer. But one can't just delete the programme, as on a computer. One has to reject the lies and re-programme one's mind with the truth.
The truth is that you are awesome, like an eagle: Intelligent, beautiful, strong, resourceful, courageous, tough. You are able to soar above the circumstances and achieve beyond your limits.
Undo what you have heard by repeating the opposite to yourself. Einstein said that it takes 11 positives to undo one negative. That means we need to repeat 1,63 million positives to undo the negatives that we have heard in our childhood.
Say things like:
I am brilliant
I am a Winner
I can do anything
I can be financially free
I can do the impossible
Identify what others have said about you and your abilities, which may be holding you back.
Reject the powerful lies one by one.
What lies have you believed?

You Are Your Own Enemy
by Hannah du Plessis
"Our duty as men and women is to proceed as if limits to our ability do not exist"- Pierre de Chardin
Yesterday we discussed how what others say and do can limit us. Today, we look at how we can harm ourselves.
Your own self-talk - your thoughts - can limit you. Don’t limit yourself by what you think and say. Keep your thoughts positive. When you think a negative thought, quickly find something to be grateful for and replace it with that thought. Don’t choke your own creativity by thinking negatively.
Don’t doubt yourself because it holds you back. Don’t be afraid of taking risks because what is the worst that could happen: you’ll fail and learn something?
William Shakespeare said: “Our doubts are traitors which tempt us to lose the good we oft might win by fearing to attempt."
Werner von Braun was one of the scientists responsible for developing the propulsion systems of rockets that got the first satellite into space and the first man on the moon. He said: "Man belongs where man wants to go"
What does that tell you about limits? There are none!!!
Do you want to change your world? Do you want to change your income, your marriage, your level of happiness? Then take the word "impossible" out of your vocabulary.
Everything is possible!!
You live according to what you believe, and you will believe that which you repeat to yourself.
