You Are Never Too Young Or Too Old To Be Successful
Sean Black was a kid in my class. He was 13 years old, and
had a love of life. We were talking about money one day after singing the song:
“Money, money, money,” by Abba and the kids were saying how they would love to
have a lot of money.
Well, we started dreaming aloud about having more money, and
Sean then said that he was very frustrated about the fact that he always had to
ask for money; he wanted his own money. Did I know of anything he could do
because he was too young to work and had to do chores in and around his house
in order to earn some pocket money.
We started dreaming around what kids could do and I said:
Why don’t you start a car washing or a pool cleaning business? You get a lot of
people to sign up to get their car or pool washed every week. Then you either
go and wash it yourself, or you get someone to do it for you. You pay them half
the money, and you pocket the other half.
Sean decided to go and give it a try. He kept us up to date
for a couple of weeks. He had a lot of employment problems and discovered that
other people aren’t reliable. Besides, washing cars was hard work, and took a
lot of time if he couldn’t get others to help him. He was just wondering what
to do about it when he spotted an ad in the paper.
The ad had nothing to do with car washing, but was about bouncing
castles. He read the ad with interest, and then went to talk to his dad. He
said: “Hey Dad, I have a business proposition for you.” Dad was surprised, but
went to sit down seriously, and asked how he could help. Sean told his dad that
he had made $200 with his car wash business, and about the problems he was
having with reliability. He then told his dad about the ad and asked his dad if
he would like to help him with finance of $1000 so that he could buy a bouncing
castle. He offered his dad $250 as a deposit, and showed him that if he helped
him, the castle could be paid off in four weeks. Then they would have pure
profit.
His dad was very impressed with the deal, and decided to
help his son, taking his deposit, and giving him a loan. The last time I saw
Sean, he and his proud dad were both watching their bouncing castle at a school
fete. Apparently Sean was able to pay
his dad back in two weeks. His dad helped him to invest the rest of the money he
made. They were planning to buy a second castle.
There are some lessons in here for all of us:
1.
You can be successful in business at any age.
You need to dream first, and then find a way to make that dream a reality.
You need to dream first, and then find a way to make that dream a reality.
3.
Don’t look at the problem. Look at the solution.
You will always find one.

There Is No Spoon….
“Don’t try to bend the spoon. That is impossible. In stead, try to realise the truth … there is no spoon.” (The Matrix)
The Law of Attraction simply says that you attract into your life whatever you think about. Your thoughts are your subjective reality. Your dominant thoughts will find a way to manifest. In subjective reality, you are consciousness itself, the container in which the simulation of reality is run. So in subjective reality, everything is indeed real. You’re real. I’m real. The physical universe is real. Everything you experience is a manifestation of thought. “Your mind makes it real.” (Morpheus – The Matrix)
Attracting abundance is knowledge. As any other skill people have, like driving a car, learning a new language … manifesting is no different. How good you are at it, depends on how much you practice it.
Grasping a better understanding of how the "law of attraction" works is the first step in bringing abundance into your life: There is only one subjective reality, and it’s yours. It’s important to correctly define the you in subjective reality. You are not your physical body. No-one else has a subjective reality because they are all in your subjective reality. You can therefore not have a conflicting reality with someone else, as that someone is only part of your reality. Everything around you is manifested by you; your house, your car, even your body and your health. Nothing has any power in your reality except thought itself.
So, if thought created your reality at the moment, thought can change it. Have you ever thought about what you don’t want just to see it happen to you? Have you ever worried about something and saw what you worried about happen?
So how do you change your reality? How do you create thoughts that will manifest? Basically, just wanting something isn't going to bring that to us when we continue to obsess on the not having of that something. All we will experience is "not having" and will be ultimately blocking our true desires. You have to focus on what you want and not on what you don’t want, and you need to experience it in your imagination as being real and not just a fantasy. The more energy and certainty you put into a thought, the more dominant it becomes. You might find that you have conflicting thoughts. If that happens, you have to change your beliefs in that area. As soon as a thought corresponds to a belief you hold, that thought will manifest effortlessly. So how do you change a belief? Imagination comes in handy again. You imagine the opposite of the belief that you hold as real, and you imagine the belief you hold as no longer real. You do this for 21 days and your mind will accept it as truth.
If you don’t believe your thoughts can change your reality, then they won’t. If you don’t know what you believe, then you manifest uncertainty. Your reality will appear uncertain and confusing.
Those people who are efficient in attracting have trained their minds to focus on their desires. They have learned it so well that they often don't even realize how they do it. Abundance comes to them naturally.
To change your reality, assume responsibility for the reality you have created. Then begin creating the reality you truly want by thinking consciously about what you want (and feel good about it) and stop thinking about what you don’t want. You will know you are doing it right by your feelings. If you feel bad, you are thinking about something you don’t want. You then just need to stop thinking about what you don’t want, and start thinking about what you do want, changing your feelings, and your thoughts will manifest.

The Secret To Success is to Master Yourself
By Hannah du Plessis
“Many people have the ambition to succeed; they may even have special aptitude for their job. And yet they do not move ahead. Why? Perhaps they think that since they can master the job, there is no need to master themselves.” - John Stevenson
The reason for this is that most people are just not disciplined enough to study these books bit by bit or one section at a time and master it before moving onto the next level.
That is why musicians are among the most successful because they have to learn one skill at a time and then practice it until they master it before going on to the next skill.
That is also why schools and universities are so effective because they also teach skills bit by bit until their students master it.
What is the secret to success?
1. Mastering different skills
2. Practicing them often
3. Try and fail until you succeed
If you have mastered yourself.
Bit by bit
Little by little
Piece by piece
Those who are successful have learned to master themselves.
So, what are you going to do today? Are you going to make some more excuses, or are you going to knuckle down and master yourself so you can do what it takes?
Daily inspiration may help you.
A boost in self-confidence may help you.
But in the end, it is up to you.
Be all you can be!
To Your Success!
Hannah

Your Core Concern in Life
By Dr Robert Anthony
"This above all: to thine own self be true. And it must follow,
as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man."
- William Shakespeare
Depending on our Personality filters, we all have a Core Concern
that is at the basis of most of our fear, doubt and worry. We all
spend a lot of time and energy trying to avoid feeling our Core
Concern. Much of this is done unconsciously.
Becoming aware of your habitual Focus of Attention and Coping
Strategy helps shine a light on that Core Concern and the simple
act of awareness begins to loosen the hold the Core Concern has on
you.
I am trying to get you to be more aware of your Core Concern.
I am NOT telling you to get rid of it. Much of the non-productive
behaviour that you engage in is due to trying to rid yourself of
that Core Concern, trying not feel it and especially trying not let
anyone see that you feel it.
What I am suggesting is that you accept it with no judgement. Just
a statement of what is and a release. This is very
powerful. Try it. "Oh, that's just my fear/anger/avarice/etc.
talking."
We spend so much energy trying NOT to feel, but the trick is to
just let the feeling in - acknowledge it, thank it for its
wisdom and let it move on. Like a thought passing through your
mind, a feeling passes through your body. It's alright, let it in,
let it out. Trying to repress or rid yourself of it only increases
its hold on you.
Any time you accept "what is", you release resistance and then you
have much more energy available to you. Is there anything about
yourself that you don't accept? What if you just dropped all
resistance to it? What if you said, "this is what I am and that's
okay"? Wouldn't that feel good? No judgement, no guilt, no shame.
Those are very low vibration emotions and they never help or effect
change. They keep you stuck. In acceptance, there is healing and
movement.

How judgement robs you of success...
"It's impossible to hate anyone whose story you know." - H.S. Boylan
We talk a lot, in our work with Personality Filters, about developing compassion, both for yourself and others. We say that when you understand why someone behaves the way they do, then you are more able to feel compassion instead of judgement toward them.
Typically, when we judge someone we are making a whole host of assumptions. Take a simple judgement: "She should be on time". Is that true?
Do you know:
-If something unavoidable occurred to prevent her from being on time?
-What lessons she is learning in her life by being late?
-If being on time is an important standard for her?
-If her inner guidance was keeping her from a certain intersection at a certain time?
The bottom line is that you don't know, you never really know what someone else's path in life involves. Therefore, the answer is always, "No, it's not true". It's just your opinion.
Having compassion does not mean that you have to condone someone's hurtful behavior, but it does mean that you don't judge the person. Now I imagine that some of you are thinking, "What about criminals?" I'm willing to bet that the most heinous crimes are committed by people who had heinous things done to them as children. Does that excuse or justify their behavior? Definitely not. But if you knew their story, you would feel more compassion for them. We see this in our work in the judicial system, where judges pass judgment on the action of an individual, while remaining compassionate to the person.
Our day to day judgments are typically not of that magnitude. They are mostly about things that we believe other people should be doing based on our own values, standards, wishes or needs. So the next time you find yourself judging someone, take the judgemental thought and ask yourself; Is that true? Can you know with absolute certainty that it is true? If you're not in that other
person's skin the answer has to be - No, it's not true.

- Typically, the 98% are on a path that makes success difficult perhaps impossible even.Typically, the 98% have not recovered from the damage inflicted on them during their early life and If you're among the 98%, it's possible that you've been damaged to the extent that there's no reasonable hope of recovery.
- This group suffers from not having acquired certain pivotal skills, keeping them stuck at low levels of incompetence, mediocrity, and failure. There are certain factors that BLOCK their success -- and they don't have the pivotal skills required to remove such blocks.
